I started the day cheating a bit. Brunch is sort of in my blood so we hit up Bistro 31 in HPV for my mom’s birthday. Oops. Good thing they have excellent juices and a healthy omelet option. Just as good as the spelt pancakes on the plan for that morning, right? I’ll just make those Monday morning instead.

These soba noodles were from Saturday (I think, I’m gettin’ my meals all messed up due to the socializing). The recipe called for clams, but that wasn’t happening, so I cheated once again and bought a half smoked chicken. It added a little carbonara taste to the dish.

I made some spinach as well and added green onions.

For dessert, I went with the citrus salad with pomegranate seeds. Juicy and goooooood.
