Admittedly, I don’t know a lot about oysters. But there are some folks in town who do. Like, for example, Jon Alexis of TJ’s Seafood Market. Well, luckily for you, he and a bunch of other folks-in-the-oyster-know will be serving up oyster dishes and sides for Chefs For Farmers event on October 26. Here are the details.

BYOG (bring your own glass): for spirits and wines from Glazer’s

BYOOF (bring your own Oyster Face): it’s a term I just made up for the face you make after you slurp an oyster.

But wait there’s more: like an oyster slurp-off, a tarot card reader, DJ Souljah and even “surprises”

Charity component: A portion of the proceeds benefit Cafe Momentum and Foodways Texas.
