Oak Cliff Does Barbecue Right with Blues, Bandits & BBQ Event
I’ve been bitten by the barbecue bug, y’all. So it’s a good thing that Blues, Bandits and BBQ is coming up this weekend in Oak Cliff. Friday and Saturday, you can attend this FREE event where there will be a BBQ competition featuring a whopping 23 competiting teams, a cooking demo by Chef Tim Byres, live music, a movie screening, beer (obviously) and approximately 1,000 POUNDS of meat. That’s a lot of pounds. And that’s a long list of things to do, too.
Oh, but if you want to taste all those meats, you’ll need to buy a wristband for $20.
And on a related note, Sunday is now officially Dallas Meat Coma Day. Please celebrate irresponsibly.
