NOW SWIRLING: Cow Tipping Creamery in East Dallas #FirstLook #VIPeek
Welp, things are happening and they are sweet, delicious things that are very, very bad for my waistline. First, Hypnotic Emporium Ice Cream opened up next to Hypnotic Donuts. Emporium Pies is coming to Deep Ellum. And now this: Cow Tipping Creamery, a mecca of soft serve heaven, is open in East Dallas — right inside Good 2 Go Taco at the corner of Peavy and Garland Road.
I’m now accepting personal trainer applications. F.
Here’s the short story about CTC. It comes from Austin. It’s soft serve ice cream and every part of the stuff is house-made. That includes every topping, from the hot fudges to the brown butter Ritz crumbs. It’s all made by CTC. They do cones, stackers (which are like sundaes but where the soft serve and toppings are layered throughout so you get deliciousness in every bite), shakes and more.
How did it get here? Jay Jerrier, AKA Pizza Jesus. He brought us both Cane Rosso and Zoli’s (may it rest in yet-to-be-resurrected peace), whichever tempts your pizza-fancy. For me it’s both. And who doesn’t want a big cup or cone of ice cream after they’ve finished off a pie? I know it’s not just me. So smarty pants Jay and his smarty pants friend Jeff decided to bring Cow Tipping Creamery here because it’s awesome. Next time you see one of them, give them a big high five for all that. OK enough talk, let’s get to the soft serve porn.

DISCLAIMER: I was invited out to a private media sneak peek before the official CTC opening. The images pictured above (all taken by me) were either comped and eaten by me or just taken by me and eaten by someone else because I’m that annoying person who takes photos of other people’s food. Approx. value of the comped deliciousness: $20.
