Here’s what you need to know about Kitchen LTO.

Chef Eric Shelton is Kitchen LTO’s current chef. He was selected a few months ago to replace Chef Norman Grimm and lead the kitchen, but now his limited time is almost up. It’s time to choose another chef and designer to revamp LTO for another limited time. That’s the way Kitchen LTO works, you know. The decor, the chef and menu changes every four months. And the public gets to help choose the lucky folks who get to recreate the experience for its culinary clientele.

It’s that time again. There’s a showcase event followed by voting and selection. The field has already been narrowed down by a panel of experts, so now it’s your turn to choose the next chef and designer.

The showcase will be this Sunday, May 4 from 5-8pm. Always a deliciously fun time, the event lets guests try bites of the contending chefs’ concepts, view menus and see mood board-style ideas from the design teams.

After that, it’ll be time to vote online at www.kitchenlto.com, from the event through 6pm on Saturday, May 10th. Voting will be limited to one time per 24 hours, with winners announced Monday, May 12.  After the Chef Shelton’s last night on May 31, the restaurant will close for just one extra day, reopening on Tuesday, June 3 with the new chef and design in place.
