I’m certainly not complaining, but I got a metric shit-ton of press releases about holiday festivities at Dallas establishments. I figure it’s my duty to share. Here’s a good list of many of them, for New Year’s Eve specifically, with some details if you’re still deciding.

1. NYE at the Hotel InterContinental
They’re offering a few options for drinking in the new year with wedding specialists Emerald City and sleeping it off, North Dallas-style. $70-$1750 (for a group of ten!). ecnye.com

2. NYE at the Landmark Melrose Hotel
The Melrose has a special $85/person prix fixe menu for New Year’s Eve with six courses. The Library Bar will have live entertainment by The Revolvers and a $20 cover, plus special holiday rates for overnight stays.

3. NYE at SĒR atop the Anatole Hotel
The press release didn’t specify a special menu, but I bet Chef Van Kamp has something special cooked up for folks ready to ring in 2013 on the 27th floor. Book a table online.

4. NYE at Private | Social
Chef Tiffany Derry and Barman Rocco Milano have put together a five-course menu with wine pairings for $125/person plus $50 for wine on the restaurant’s “private” side. On the “social” space, Milano will be shaking up his famously genius cocktails without a cover charge. Live jazz provided by Brett Laquercia. Call 214.754.4744 to reserve.

5. NYE at NYLO Las Colinas
If you’re looking to get out of town for New Year’s but can’t quite afford a flight, try Irving! The NYLO up in Las Colinas is a sexy, artsy staycation waiting to happen. The LOFT Restaurant and Bar will be serving 2-for-1 appetizers as well as Chef Matthew Brown’s full menu, plus live entertainment by Ron Logan and a champagne toast at midnight. Play it safe; call 972-373-8900 to splurge on a special room rate of $89.

6. NYE at The Cedars Social
Cedars Social will set you back $75 for a three-course menu with seatings at 7, 9 and 11pm. A glass of Etoile Brut is complimentary with dinner. Call 214-928-7700 to reserve.

7. NYE with MAX
Max’s Wine Dive, purveyor of champagne and fried chicken, is offering a four-course menu for $75 plus $25 for wine pairings. Glasses of fancy pants champagne will be offered at $19.75 per glass. Call 214-559-3483 to reserve.

8. NYE at Asador
Scope out an unsung gem this New Year’s Eve. Asador’s farm to fire concept will be brought to life by Chef Brad Phillips in a new way for the end of 2012: with quite reasonably-priced tapas like ceviche ($8), wings ($6) and oysters ($6-10). Bonus: the food and cocktails at Asador are outstanding. Double Bonus: you’re already at the Renaissance Hotel when it’s time to roll yourself off to bed. Call 214-267-4815 to reserve. Triple Bonus: when you say “tapas,” most people will mishear you and think you said “topless.” FACT.

9. NYE at The Second Floor
This swanky spot inside the Westin Galleria has put together a three-course dinner for $75 with optional wine pairings for $35 and bottomless bubbly for $50. Call 972-450-2978 to reserve.

10. NYE with The Lombardis
All eight of Alberto Lombardi’s  Dallas-area restaurants have special menus as well as their regular menus to serve you right on New Year’s Eve. Cafe Des Artistes, Bistro 31, Toulouse, La Fiorentina, Sangria, Taverna and even Penne Pomodoro are ready to party. Lounge 31 has some sexy food and liquor items with a $25 cover or table reservations required. I’m told there will be DJs. Call each of these to reserve or for more information about their special menus.

11. NYE at Cadot
Get French in North Dallas at Cadot with its $89/person five-course feast. Call 972-267-5700 to reserve your spot at la table.

12. NYE at Candleroom
I’ve personally rang in the New Year at Candleroom and it was pretty awesome. I recommend grabbing 20 friends and securing a table reservation. Email events@candleroomdallas.com.

13. NYE at Fearing’s
For an extravagant feast followed by some fancy pants bar partying, look no further than Fearing’s in the Ritz Carlton. For $175 per person diners will enjoy champagne, four courses of Chef Dean Fearing’s delights, free entrance to the Rattlesnake and Live Oak Bar, balloon drops and you just know Chef Dean is going to belt out some tunes. Call 214-922-4848 to reserve.

14. NYE at Boulevardier
Boulevardier isn’t doing any special prix fixe meals, just their regular menu with some added sparkle. Caviar here, maybe some special bison tenderloin over there, and a bit of lobster might happen, according to owner Brooks Anderson and his easy-breezy facebook invite. Email Brooks for a reservation at brooks@andersonllp.com.

15. NYE at Cook Hall
The W Hotel’s new restaurant is offering guests its regular menu and live jazz for New Year’s Eve, plus $12 mimosas and a special DIY bloody Mary kit for New Year’s Day ($15 for a small kit, $30 for a large one). Reservations: 214.397.4111 or www.wdallasvictory.com/cook-hall-dallas.

16. NYE at The Belmont Hotel
The Belmont (a foodbitch-recommended hotel for sure) is doing New Year’s with a view and no cover charge. Check out their facebook event for more information, but there’s definitely a $200 overnight option that includes transportation to two parties plus you can add admission and transport to the Texas Theater’s NYE bash ($30), or even keep the celebration going with a second night stay for as little as $55. This might be the most complicated and intriguing option yet. Call 866-870-8010 to book.

17. NYE at OCHO
This one’s also a doozy. Three-course dinner (including champagne toast) plus the premier/launch of the Redmans (of DStyleSheet fame?) If you don’t want to do dinner, for $30 you can score entrance to Ocho’s 8bar to hear the DJs. There are also discounted Uber rates plus stays at the newly renovated Hilton Park Cities. Call 214-217-0888 to reserve or to inquire about the price of the three-course meal, which wasn’t listed in the email.

18. NYE at Sissy’s
Ms. Lisa Garza’s Sissy’s is doing a “Bottle & Bucket” special featuring a bucket of Sissy’s fried chicken and bottle of Moët for $75 (or Moët Rosé for $95). Also available is a six-course tasting menu for $80 per person or $150 with wine pairings. The regular dinner menu will be available. Specialty cocktails will be poured at the bar, and a complimentary champagne toast will be offered at midnight. Bar is first come, first served, but reservations are strongly requested for dinner: 214.827.9900

19. NYE at Shinsei
Tracy Rathbun and Lynae Fearing have cooked up some dinner specials like Royal Red Shrimp Ceviche, Braised Pork Bell, and Roasted Buffalo Strip Loin with Teriyaki Grilled Lobster, and will be entertaining guests with music by DJ Steffi beginning at 10pm. Call 214.352.0005 to reserve.

20. NYE at DISH
Along with DJ Jose, flamboyantly fabulous DISH on Cedar Springs will be offering their a la carte dinner menu, a special prix fixe menu, $50 hosted open bar, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Reserve on Open Table or call 214.522.DISH.

21. NYE at NORA
Perhaps the most low-key option of them all, Nora on Greenville is offering a prix fixe meal for $50 that includes four courses and a champagne toast. Call 214-828-0095 or email noragreenville@gmail.com to reserve your seat.

Late addition #22: Check out TJ’s Fresh Seafood Market’s NYE Lobster Bake. $35 per person for lobster, corn, mussels and more. Add a filet for $19 more. And why not? It’s the last day of 2012 and Jon’s fish rocks. Call to reserve: 214-219-3474.

Later addition #23 because I just can’t stop: Baboush is doing a four-course NYE dinner with belly dancing and music. Call 214-599-0707 to reserve.

HOLY SHIT there are a lot of great options right there. I hope at least ONE THOUSAND of you attend one of the above to justify the embarrassing amount of time I spent putting this post together. It’s effing 1:38 in the morning right now. Shit.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, BITCHES! I love you all and I really, really mean that.

xoxo,
