Description

Fancy shmancy bowling alley and eatery Bowl & Barrel opens today with a chef-driven menu. Bowling and fresh oysters might not seem like they go together (anyone else think this is a little batty?!), but apparently it’s a thing. The 150-seat restaurant, with a menu designed by incredichef Sharon Hage is in a separate area from the bowling, but you can still order from the menu while you bowl. Please feel free to check out B&B and let me know what you think. But if you care to wait and see if it’s any good, I’ll be attending a media shindig soon and I’ll have a full report up on the blog shortly after.

Download the Bowl & Barrel Menu here, or click the image at left to take a closer look.

Menu items of note: hot fried quail ($8), foreign & domestic cheese board ($13), the Lebowski cocktail ($8), fish ‘n crisps sandwich ($14), butterscotch pie ($5).
