Screen Shot 2013-05-02 at 12.21.00 PMSo if you’ll remember, a while back I told you about Spoon. Then I told you some more. And while that was like six months ago, I’ve been holding my breath ever since* waiting for Chef John Tesar’s lunch service to start.

The day has come! Well, come Sunday the 12th anyway. That’s when there will be a special Mother’s Day brunch, followed by lunch Tuesdays through Fridays and brunches on Sundays. Oh happy day!

My favorite thing on the menu? The Le Bernadin-style raw tuna and foie gras. Seriously. Do not leave without trying this dish.

There’s way more to love than just my favorite though, so feel free to peruse the menu at left and try not to drool.
