Fun fact: I get excited when new restaurants open. Shocking, I know. Well, I get super extra excited when new restaurants open up in East Dallas like kind of almost on my street. Unleavened just did that. So I scurried over there, took some photos, wrote about it for the Dallas Observer, and then a few days later went over and ate lunch there too. To put it simply, Unleavened serves food that is healthy enough, but not so healthy that it doesn’t taste good. I recommend the Weekender wrap, pictured up top. Also, my kids love the corn and the quinoa salad with smoked pecans and cranberries, believe it or not. Can’t wait to try breakfast.
