Last week, the fine folks at Del Frisco’s Grille invited me out to their brand spanking new Plano restaurant to get a sneak peek at the newest DFG before it opened to the public. Unfortunately, this bitch doesn’t get all the way up that far north too often, so luckily for me, they were also kind enough to recreate that experience for me at their Uptown location! Such sweethearts. Turns out, Del Frisco’s Grille does summer right.

The cocktails were awesome. I had the Youth Serum, while my Food Bastard enjoyed a Kilt Lifter.

The new Plano location opened up at the Shops at Legacy on Friday, June 19. Besides an all-new Plano location, there are also a few all-new summer menu drinks and menu items. I made sure to try a few of those, because summer.

The newest Del Frisco’s Grille is located at The Shops at Legacy. Or, you can visit the good old McKinney Avenue location, which is just as popular as ever, for good reason. Killer cocktails (try the Youth Serum), standout service and consistently solid food. Special props goes to our server, Mike, who gave great recommendations and was super attentive. High fives all around, DFG!
