If you’ve been following me on Instagram (and if you haven’t, what the heck are you waiting for??), then you saw that I attended a media preview of the new fall menu at Max’s Wine Dive. Chef Patrick over there never disappoints, unless you’re disappointed by indulgence. Honestly the only time I’ve ever been disappointed at Max’s is when I found truffle oil on my sandwich, and really, that’s my own hangup.

So back to Tuesday night. Those of us lucky enough to be invited were treated to a few courses of awesomeness and accompanying wines as well (my preggo self excluded, of course). The food was indulgent, different and damn tasty.

 

Here’s what we tried:

NOTE: This media dinner was free to me because … it was a media dinner. That being said, I’d go back and make a meal out of those fried Brussels sprouts and that meaty-good short rib on my own dime any day. But hold the ham vinegar, please. Because WTH is ham vinegar?!
