Le Dîner en Blanc Dallas in Pictures
Last Thursday night was… crazy! But also incredible, a spectacle and something I wouldn’t have missed. It was better than I imagined. It was the inaugural Dîner en Blanc Dallas. 1,600 people wore white from head to toe and descended on the Continental Avenue Pedestrian Bridge near Trinity Groves to take part in a new tradition like a leap of faith of sorts. It was a blur of white and light and wine and smiles and dancing and fireworks.
Huge props to the sponsors for the night, including: Southwest Airlines, Need/Foremost (if you haven’t checked them out, do it right now), Celebrity Cruises (hey there yummy macarons!), Apothic White for their delicious wines and to Pyrotex for the better-than-July-4 fireworks show.
Also, thank you to the DEB team, including hosts Karen, Marti and Rachael (and PR star Katherine), for all their hard work and for allowing members of the media like me to show up and capture the event while having a blast at the same time.
Here are a few of my favorite snaps from the evening.
